Scrub It with a Mild Laundry Detergent and a Microfiber Cloth

Nevertheless, when faced with such a problem, the first auto detailing step you should do is scrub the dirt/stain/spill with a microfiber cloth dabbed in a mild laundry detergent. Try to remove as much of the stain as possible. Then, taking another clean microfiber cloth that is dabbed in cool water, scrub the areas you targeted until the residue of the laundry detergent is gone. Rub Baking Soda into the Carpet if there is Odor Coming from the Trunk
Whether there is a bad odor coming from the trunk or there is a stain that simply won’t go away (not even after you’ve scrubbed it with a mild laundry detergent), you can try rubbing baking soda into the carpet. Do this to the entire trunk floor, but target obvious stains the most. Then, let the baking soda set for a few minutes before you take a wet microfiber cloth and remove the baking soda. This should do the trick.
